Coby Skjerven and Alexia Brateng, a couple of seniors at Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, had big plans when they took on the candy store mural project!
Through lots of planning and many conversations with our Arts Committee, Scott from Ingram's Candy Store, Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations, we got the ok to start painting the Candy Store Mural in June of 2022.

We were initially thinking the mural would go on the first part of the building covered in yellow. Coby and Lexi said no way, we're doing the whole thing!
The mural unveiling party was held on July 28th, 2022. Many people and organizations helped make this project possible!
The next mural project is coming up summer of 2023, stay tuned!
